About Me
Hi, I’m Megan (she/her), a neurodivergent Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I grew up in the DC area and spent much of my life as an athlete. Alongside managing chronic illness and pain, I’ve always strived to bring authenticity into my practice. Now, I split my time between Maryland and Delaware with my husband and our three dogs.
Like many people with ADHD, I’m passionate about new hobbies and love learning new things. At the same time, I deeply value routine—when I’m not working, you’ll often find me with my dogs or engaged in some kind of activity. Communication wasn’t easy for me as a kid, so creating a space where people can soundboard their thoughts or work through challenges is something I hold close to my heart. I also believe in the importance of humor and nourishing the parts of ourselves that need it.
I’m excited to walk alongside you on this journey!
My Clinical Focus
I specialize in supporting neurodivergent individuals who feel misunderstood and struggle with identity, anxiety, or trauma. As a neurodivergent clinician, I deeply understand what it’s like to feel out of place.
Through approaches like psychodynamic therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS), I help you gain deeper self-awareness, feel validated, and work toward peace and self-acceptance. Whether you’re looking to lighten the weight of a tough day or tackle deeper struggles, I’m here to support your journey toward lasting change and personal growth.
In my practice, diversity is embraced. As an LGBTQIA2+ ally, I welcome clients from all backgrounds, identities, and beliefs. If you are interested in scheduling a session please feel free to reach out. Thank you!
